3 operational checks to occur during the first three years of operation.
1-Year compressor/heat exchanger failure system replacement. If the compressor or heat exchanger fails during the first year we will replace the unit, not the failed component.
Operational Check Lists
Heat Pump/Air Conditioner
- Verify proper operation of the thermostat
- Verify proper operation of the blower
- Verify electric heat operations (Heat Pumps only)
- Replace 1" pleated or 5" MERV 8 media filter
- Visual inspection of the indoor and outdoor coils
- Flush and clean condensate trap
- Verify ground water or loop pump operations (Geothermal Heat Pumps only)
- Verify proper operation of accessories
- Connect gauge to true suction and verify operating pressure
- For Air Conditioning mode: verify correct suction superheat
- For Heat Pumps: Verify proper discharge temperature according to outdoor temperature
- If Humidifier is purchased at time of install, replacement of humidifier pad is included
Gas Appliances
- Verify proper operation of the thermostat
- Verify proper sequence of operation to establish flame
- Replace 1" pleated or 5" MERV 8 media filter
- Verify proper operation of the blower or circulator pump
- Visual inspection of the chimney base and/or flue pipe
- Verify proper temperature rise
- Visual inspection of burner tubes
- If Humidifier is purchased at time of install, replacement of humidifier pad is included
