Boiler Options for Increased Energy Savings
Indirect Water Heating
Looking for a new water heater? An indirect water heater is more efficient because energy is stored in a separate tank, allowing the boiler to turn off and on less often which saves energy. An indirect water heater combined with a high-efficiency boiler and well-insulated tank can be your least expensive means of providing hot water.
Outdoor Reset Control
Outdoor reset controls increase energy savings from 5% to 30%. An outdoor reset allows a boiler to gauge and respond to outside temperatures. The boiler temperature is lowered as the outdoor temperature rises. The result is improved efficiency and reduced fuel consumption.
