Typical Geothermal Installations Include:
For closed-loop systems we provide and install socket-fused geothermal piping from inside the foundation to the system flow-center. The exterior loop piping, drilling, excavation and back-fill is typically done by others. We enjoy good working relationships with several area drillers and we will provide you with an approximate site allowance as part of our proposal. Prior to the start of any work, we will arrange for a geo-loop professional to visit your site and provide you with a proposal for their work.
- All geothermal piping inside the foundation will be insulated.
- For system-replacement applications, the existing equipment will be removed from the site. We will fabricate and install required duct transitions to connect the existing air distribution system. Any pre-existing deficiencies in the present duct system will not necessarily be corrected with new equipment.
- For applications requiring a complete duct system, we will engineer, fabricate and install an air delivery system that will meet or exceed code and trade association guidelines.
- We will perform related power and control wiring modifications.
- We will provide and install an electronic thermostat.
- We will start up and test operation of the system.
Optional domestic water heating assistance can be provided with a de-superheater for additional energy savings.
