I am sure you may have questions and concerns about the sudden closure of CW Fritz Company. We were as surprised as you were to find out they were closing.
The owner decided to retire and close the business. HB McClure did not purchase CW Fritz. We were approached by the owner to see if we had interest in taking care of his clients. We, of course, would like that opportunity.
Many of you have paid for preventive maintenance agreements through CW Fritz. It is our intention, to honor those agreements by having HB McClure perform the pre-paid tune-ups at no cost to the client. Of course it is your option, not to allow HB McClure perform this service. If you elect to have us not come out, we have no obligation to provide any type of refund for monies paid to Fritz.
We deeply appreciate your patience as we try to integrate all the CW Fritz clients into our maintenance schedule. As mentioned above, this additional workload came to us very unexpectedly. Please be assured that we are fully staffed with excellent technicians to take care of your needs. We just need a brief time to review the commitments of these service agreements and allocate the resources needed to get these integrated into a schedule. We employ nearly 175 associates and have over 100 service trucks on the road and are very anxious to serve your plumbing, HVAC and electrical needs.
For those of you with Lennox Complete Care extended warranty coverage; we are factory-authorized to service your equipment under the terms of the warranty contract. We are attempting to acquire the list of clients and their equipment with this coverage. It would be helpful if you could provide us with your Lennox Complete Care Agreement number when placing a call for service. We are the largest Lennox dealer in the area and have the resources available to promptly resolve your service problem
If CW Fritz recently installed your system, HB McClure intends to honor their one-year parts and labor equipment warranty. Here again, it would be helpful if you could provide us with the system installation date when you place the call for service. Our ability to access detailed job file information contained in Fritz’s files is limited.
