Federal Income Tax Credit for conventional cooling and heating systems has been extended beyond 12/31/10.
Home owners get a tax credit of up to $500 capped maximum for installation of the following (for conventional heating and cooling systems):
– Air-source HP rated at or above 15-SEER, 12.5-EER & 8.5-HSPF – must meet all 3 categories ($300.00)
– Central AC rated at or above 16-SEER, 13-EER – must meet both categories ($300.00)
– Natural/LP warm air furnace rated at or above 95%AFUE ($150)
-- Variable speed fan drive ($50)
The Federal Income Tax Credit for geothermal or solar thermal systems is set to expire 12/31/16.
Property owners get 30% tax credit for entire installation—including geothermal loop costs and this is not capped!
PPL Utility Rebate deal applies to any homeowner served by PPL lines; you do not need to purchase your generation from PPL to participate but you must be connected to PPL’s grid.
Funding amounts shown are good thru 5/31/11 or “until funds are depleted.”
